Azimut Investment Management has appointed Andrew Ang as the new head of institutional and wholesale Asia in Singapore. Ang brings over three decades of extensive experience in institutional investment, wealth management, and banking to his new role.

Throughout his career, Ang has held key positions at notable organizations such as UOB, Pioneer Investments, and Merrill Lynch Banque Suisse. His expertise lies predominantly in sales and business development, with a strong focus on growing and developing new business initiatives across various Asian markets.

At Azimut, Ang will play a pivotal role in driving growth and expanding the company’s footprint in the region. Reporting to Maroun Jalkh, CEO of Azimut (ME) and head of institutional and wholesale Middle East & Asia for Azimut Group, Ang will lead the institutional and wholesale team’s efforts in Asia.

His appointment underscores Azimut’s commitment to strengthening its presence and offerings in Asian markets.
