AvaTrade is undergoing a major ownership shift, as Israeli investor Zvika Barinboim prepares to acquire a controlling 50% stake.

The deal involves buying out co-founder Emanuel Kronitz’s 35% share, along with additional stakes held by minority shareholders including CEO Shuki Abramovich.

Barinboim, known for his ventures in tech and real estate, attempted to enter the FX space in 2021 but was unsuccessful.

This transaction, which values AvaTrade at $400–500 million, also includes a fresh capital injection from Barinboim’s group.
