Banxa, a prominent player in the embedded crypto infrastructure space, has appointed Laura Lin as its new Head of Compliance. Lin, who recently stepped down as CEO of Capital.com Australia, brings a wealth of experience from her extensive career in financial services.
Laura Lin led Capital.com Australia from 2021 to March 2024, steering the company through a period of growth and regulatory change. Prior to that, she served as CEO of Mitrade, a retail FX and CFDs broker, and held various senior compliance roles at IG Group in Australia.
In her new position at Banxa, Lin will oversee the company’s compliance strategy and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions. This appointment comes as Banxa continues to expand its global footprint, providing businesses with seamless integration of crypto and fiat currencies.
