Having worked with several renowned companies on a range of different roles as well as technologies, Paul Reidy is all set to take over as the Head of Brokerage Technology
BGC Partners, a financial services company based in New York City, has appointed Paul Reidy as the Head of Brokerage Technology.
Prior to this, Reidy served the Cboe Global Markets as the Chief Operations Officer from 2017 to 2020, where he was responsible for handling the tech and operations for the company’s Foreign Exchange platform.
With his new appointment, Reaidy will be working with many of his ex-colleagues, including Howard Silverman, Barry Calder, Steve Bisgay, Jeff Headley, Steve Sadoff, and John Colantuono.
Besides, he has also worked for BATS Global Markets as the Head of FX Technology, and Knight Capital Group as the Managing Director for nearly 10 years.
He also brings with him strong expertise from working with several bigwigs like Bloomberg, Bond book ECN, Kabira Technologies and Merrill Lynch.
Having a vast experience in the technological field, Paul Reidy has worked on a variety of technologies and successfully lead software development as well as operations across several electronic trading platforms
