Sucden Financial has announced the appointment of Bruno Almeida to the newly established role of Director of Regulatory and Financial Risks. With nearly 20 years in financial services, Almeida brings extensive expertise in financial regulation and risk management to the firm.
His new role, pending regulatory approval, will see him serve as an Executive Director and a key member of the Executive Committee. In his position, Almeida will oversee the company’s capital and liquidity risks, as well as manage exchange relationships.
His previous roles include Chief Financial Officer UKMEA at FNZ Group and Executive Director at FNZ Securities Ltd. Almeida also has significant regulatory experience from his tenure at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), where he specialized in assessing risk management and governance frameworks.
