The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) has announced that it has retracted the Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) authorizations of two additional companies in a week.

The Cyprus based regulatory authority informed that it had suspended the authorization bearing the license number 245/14, belonging to a company called LEON MFO INVESTMENTS LIMITED.

The second company whose authorization got suspended was AMG Kapital Limited, which carried the license number 110/10.

It is pertinent to note that both the companies mentioned above expressly renounced the licenses, which led to the cancellation of their authorizations.

Leon MFO Investments Limited got listed on the registry of CySEC back in 2014, after it extended its business operations to Limassol, Cyprus. It is an Alternative Investment Fund Manager that provides investment and portfolio management services to its clients.

On the other hand, AMG Kapital Ltd got registered with CySEC in 2010, after having started its business dealings in Limassol, Cyprus. It is a financial service firm that actively manages hybrid and fixed income hedge funds as part of its investment and portfolio management service.
