- Triton Capital Markets has voluntarily surrendered its Malta investment services license, ending 16 years of authorization without regulatory enforcement action.
Triton Capital Markets Ltd., the Malta-based entity formerly operating as FXDD Malta, has voluntarily surrendered its investment services license, ending its regulatory authorization after 16 years.
The Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) confirmed the decision and said the surrender was not the result of regulatory enforcement.
Triton previously used its Maltese authorization to provide investment services across the European Economic Area under MiFID passporting arrangements.
Its cross-border permissions have now ended, including in Belgium, where the passporting record shows an end date of March 24, 2026.
