- Godo has entered the European trading market with a CySEC licence, establishing a regulated presence in Cyprus after its Mauritius operations.
Godo has entered the European trading market after securing regulation from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), adding a new regulated broker to the region’s financial services sector.
The company was co-founded by Mohamed Ahmed and Ebieraja Alex, who previously held senior positions at AvaTrade’s Dubai operations.
Godo’s move into Cyprus comes as parts of the retail brokerage industry increasingly focus on offshore jurisdictions to manage tighter regulatory requirements in Europe and the UK.
