Cboe Europe Derivatives (CEDX) proudly announced the successful onboarding of Interactive Brokers as a new trading participant.

This strategic move will enable Interactive Brokers to offer their clients direct access to CEDX’s comprehensive range of equity index derivatives and equity options.

Interactive Brokers has also been recognized as a direct clearing participant for equity derivatives on Cboe Clear Europe N.V., enhancing their capabilities in the European market.

This milestone marks a significant step in expanding retail investors’ access to efficient and cost-effective European derivatives markets.

Iouri Saroukhanov, Head of European Derivatives at Cboe Europe, expressed excitement about this collaboration, emphasizing the benefits for retail investors and the overall improvement of the European derivatives market. Milan Galik, CEO of Interactive Brokers, highlighted the enhanced choice and flexibility this partnership offers their clients.

CEDX, which launched in September 2021, continues to innovate by expanding its offerings. As of April 2024, the exchange provides over 300 options on companies from 14 countries, covering a significant portion of the European equity options market.
