Brokerage firm Monaxa has made an important strategic hire aimed at strengthening its leadership position in the Latin American (LatAM) market.

The Anguilla-domiciled company has brought in Delia Claudia Bercea as Head of Latin America based in Uruguay. Bercea comes with significant experience developing business opportunities for brokers across LatAM, having previously held roles at Sky Options, IronFX and FXPrimus.

At Monaxa, she will be tasked with directing the broker’s operations and growth strategy in the region. This represents a strategic pivot as Monaxa, traditionally focused on Asian markets, looks to capitalize on LatAM’s vibrant forex and CFD trading landscape.

CEO Chris Trikomitis, running Monaxa out of Cyprus, expressed confidence that Bercea’s expertise will be invaluable in establishing the firm as a leading international brand for LatAM-based clients.

Her appointment forms part of Monaxa’s broader ambition to drive regional diversification and serve retails traders across emerging forex strongholds. Under Bercea’s guidance, the company is now well-placed to seize business opportunities in South America and expand its global footprint.
