Pepperstone appoints Nigel Fernandes as Chief Technology Officer, with the Melbourne-based brokerage group confirming his appointment will take effect on October 1, 2026.
Nigel Fernandes joins from Xero, where he currently serves as SVP and Executive General Manager of Engineering, overseeing cloud platforms, customer identity and data.
In his new role, Nigel Fernandes will lead Pepperstone’s global engineering, architecture, security and data operations. Fernandes has previously held senior technology roles at Publicis Sapient, Coles Group, SEEK and Envato.
