StoneX Group Inc, a prominent institutional broker, has announced significant shifts within its executive management team.
Sean O’Connor, the company’s CEO since 2003, will step down from his role and transition to the position of Executive Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors.
In his place, Philip Smith, who has previously overseen StoneX Commercial and Payments business segments, will become the new Group Chief Executive Officer.
Additionally, Charles Lyon, who has led the Institutional business segment, will take on the role of Group President.
