Plus500 Ltd has announced a conditional agreement to acquire Mehta Equities Limited, a prominent Indian brokerage firm.
The deal, valued at approximately $20 million, will be funded from Plus500’s existing cash reserves of $890 million as of December 31, 2024.
The acquisition marks Plus500’s entry into India’s well-established financial market, strengthening its global futures trading portfolio.
