- Saxo appoints Damian Hitchen as Regional Head for APAC and MENA, aiming to drive growth and strengthen its regional presence.
Global financial services firm Saxo appointed Damian Hitchen as the new Regional Head for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Middle East-North Africa (MENA) regions.
Building on his success since 2021 as Saxo’s MENA head, Hitchen will now lead efforts to expand and strengthen the company’s presence across both regions.
With two decades of experience, Hitchen previously served as CEO of Swissquote in Singapore and established Swissquote’s MENA operations in Dubai.
In conjunction with Hitchen’s new role, Saxo also appointed Mahesh Sethuraman as CEO of its Singapore office. Sethuraman, who joined Saxo in 2018 and led the Global Sales Trading team, will collaborate with Deputy CEO Thomas Qvistgaard Hansen to drive the firm’s growth in Singapore.
