Online broker Trading.com has announced the appointment of Theodosis Lapatas as its new Head of Marketing for the US.
Lapatas, based in Athens, Greece, brings extensive experience in the FX industry to his new role, having previously served as Head of Affiliates at ZuluTrade for two years until the end of 2023. His tenure at ZuluTrade also included roles as Digital Marketing Manager and Affiliate Program Manager.
Trading.com, operated globally by Cyprus-based and CySEC-licensed Trading Point of Financial Instruments Ltd, has been expanding its presence and rebranding its operations in recent years.
The company rebranded its FCA-licensed UK website from “XM.com” to “trading.com” in 2019, while maintaining the XM.com brand through its Cyprus and offshore subsidiaries.
In 2022, Trading.com launched its brand in the US, with its subsidiary, Trading.com Markets Inc., operating as a registered Retail Forex Exchange Dealer, licensed by the CFTC and a member of the NFA.
